Over 900 km long, the morbihannais coast is a playground for lovers of sea around 3 basins of navigation.

The Lorient roadstead, the Gulf of Morbihan Bay of Quiberon and the Vilaine Bay constitute exceptional spaces become references over the years, making the Morbihan a pole of navigation and nautical practices deemed throughout Europe.

Each basin has its charm and benefits from multiple advantages.

The Ponant Islands

You won't be able to leave without a getaway in the Islands. In the Gulf, at the Ile aux Moines and Ile d'arz located a few kilometers from the Mainland, you're already elsewhere along the lined streets of small fishermen's houses. The sea cradles the life of the Islands to the rhythm of cruises and recreational vessels that have replaced over time fishing vessels. Alternatively, take the wide for a real cruise for a day or more to Belle-Ile, Hoëdic, Houat or Groix. The sea is marked men and lives … stories to discover in all humility! In Morbihan, inshore fishing and shellfish animate the shores and perpetuate the tradition despite the developments. Sardine fishing and tuna fishing have left their mark here and there, at the Museum of the tuna and Etel in Quiberon canning which are live and relive a whole maritime history of Morbihan. But it may be on foot that you bring your most beautiful memories, while strolling on the sentier des douaniers, discovering here and there a small hidden Cove or dunes out of sight. Take a break … freeze frame! Here time to another taste and you can be on your stay will be "at the rhythm of the tides.
